If you're interested in learning more about Language Technology
because you think it might be an interesting field to work
or study in (or for any other reason) this site has a collection
of things to look at and try. Firstly there are some demo
pages: these cover just a few of the areas of Language Technology,
giving a brief overview and some links to demos where you
can try applications of the technology for yourself:

And
if you are thinking about working in the area, you might be
interested in knowing what careers are available:
- there's
a page with a selection of jobs
that have been advertised over the last few years, to give
an idea of the range of work;
- there's
a page with some press clippings
from various companies about their view of the future of
Language Technology.
